What the service is

ForgeVPS connects to Linux machines you control over SSH and gives you a browser interface to them: a terminal, a file browser, deployment from GitHub, domains, environment variables and logs. You bring the machine and the hosting relationship with your provider; ForgeVPS is software that operates it on your instruction.

What you are agreeing to

• That you own, or are authorised to administer, every machine you connect. Connecting someone else’s server is not something this product can check and not something you may do
• That you are responsible for what runs on your machines, and for what your deployed applications do
• That you will not use ForgeVPS to attack other systems, distribute malware, or break the law of a place that applies to you
• That you are old enough to enter a contract where you live

Access to your machines

Connecting a machine installs a ForgeVPS key with root access. This is necessary for the product to function and is described in full on the privacy page, which you should read before connecting anything you care about.

That access is used to do what you ask: provision the machine, run your builds, manage processes and read the files you open. Removing the key from the machine ends it immediately, with no way for ForgeVPS to reinstate it.

Usage data and privacy

ForgeVPS uses first-party analytics on its website, guides and app to measure visits, acquisition, product usage, onboarding and sales. Collection is automatic by default without a popup. The privacy notice explains the identifiers, account linkage, information collected, retention and available controls. Analytics does not record your terminal contents, code, files, passwords or payment-card information.

You may disable optional usage analytics or delete linked usage history through the privacy page or Settings without losing product access. Account, payment and security records needed to operate the service are handled separately. Acceptance of these terms does not waive your applicable privacy rights or constitute a separate affirmative consent where the law requires one.

Free trial

If your account does not receive a free lifetime plan, it gets one free 3-day trial, starting when ForgeVPS first verifies a root SSH connection to your supported VPS. The trial lasts 72 hours, including setup time. Signing up alone does not start it, and reconnecting or adding another machine does not restart it.

No card is required and the trial does not turn into an automatic charge. When it ends, you need lifetime access to keep using the workspace. Your VPS, apps, files and databases stay on your server and keep running. You still pay your own hosting provider separately.

Free lifetime plans

Free lifetime plans are complimentary promotional grants, provided without a licence payment. An eligible account claims an available spot when ForgeVPS successfully verifies its supported VPS connection. Signing up alone does not reserve a spot. A free lifetime grant has no scheduled expiry or recurring fee while it remains active, and does not start a trial.

ForgeVPS may revoke a free lifetime plan at any time, for any reason, at its discretion, subject to any notice or other requirements of applicable law. Free lifetime access is not an irrevocable entitlement. This right applies only to complimentary plans, not to purchased lifetime licences, and does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

Revocation ends the complimentary right to use ForgeVPS and does not automatically charge you. It does not delete or stop your VPS, deployed apps, files or databases; those remain with your hosting provider and under your control.

Payment

ForgeVPS is currently offered as a one-off lifetime licence for $9.99 USD at the early bird launch price. There is no monthly subscription.

For purchased licences, “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer: it covers access to ForgeVPS for as long as it is operated, with no recurring fee, including future updates to it. It is not a promise that the product will be operated forever, because nobody can honestly make that promise. If ForgeVPS is discontinued, see the next section — the outcome is deliberately gentle, because your servers were never ours.

If payment fails, or the service ends

Nothing happens to your machines. They are yours, rented from your provider, and everything ForgeVPS deployed keeps running under its process manager exactly as before. Your domains continue to resolve, your apps continue to serve, your data stays where it is. What lapses is access to this control panel.

This is a deliberate design choice rather than a courtesy: the product never holds your application hostage, because it never hosts it in the first place. Should ForgeVPS shut down entirely, you would keep root SSH access to everything and lose only the browser interface.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime figure or guaranteed response time. It may be unavailable for maintenance, faults or reasons outside anyone’s control. Because ForgeVPS sits beside your infrastructure rather than in front of it, its being down does not take your applications down.

Your content

Your code, data and configuration remain entirely yours. ForgeVPS claims no licence over them beyond what is technically required to operate the machine at your instruction — cloning a repository you connected, writing files you edited, running commands you configured.

Liability

Software that runs commands as root can destroy things. ForgeVPS is provided without warranty, and liability is limited to what you have paid for it. Keep your own backups; nothing in this product is a backup system, and it does not claim to be one.

Actions taken through the interface are your actions. A deleted file, a stopped process or a removed domain is not recoverable by ForgeVPS on your behalf.

Ending things

You may stop using ForgeVPS at any time and delete your account from Settings. Doing so removes what ForgeVPS stores about you and leaves your machines untouched — including the ForgeVPS key, which is worth removing yourself.

Accounts may be suspended for the misuse described above. Where that happens, the same principle applies: your machines are unaffected and remain entirely under your control.

Changes

These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
